World Communion Special Offering Sunday October 4. For almost 100 years, the first Sunday in October has been designated World Communion Sunday, a day to emphasize the interconnectedness of all churches and believers, regardless of location or circumstance, through the sacrament of Holy Communion. This year on October 4, we will participate in the Presbyterian Church USA's special offering (previously called Peace and Global Witness offering) recognizing this day. Funds collected support causes promoting justice, peacemaking, global witness and interfaith connections.
